Yesterday morning I was upstairs drying my hair when the doorbell rang. Mike answered it, and it was our mailman. I thought "hmm..someone must have gotten a package since he rang the bell..." so as soon as I was finished I ran downstairs like it was Christmas...and sure enough - there was a package, and it was for ME! Now, I certainly wasn't expecting anything, but EVERYONE loves getting packages in the mail. I saw on the envelope that it was from one of my BFPB's, Em! Inside were 3 SUPER cute onesies (and the awesome/harder to find ones with long sleeves!). THANKS EM!!
I had already told DH that he had to take a belly pic for me since I'm finally STARTING to get a teeny tiny little bump (or at least, I'll pretend it's a baby bump). Since Em had also been bugging me to take belly pics...I told DH "now we DEFINITELY have to do one". So here they are...my 14w belly pics!
Finally - yesterday while we were at Walmart picking up a few things, I decided to look at the baby stuff. I think we're PRETTY set that we're going with a jungle theme - and they had this ADORABLE stuffed giraffe. Giraffes are my favorite zoo animal (even though our zoo doesn't have any!)....so DH said we should get it because he's "been looking for cute stuff like that". Well, then I found out that it was a wind up MUSICAL giraffe (that even moves it's head/neck). It reminded me of this stuffed bunny I got as a baby that was musical..and I would wind it up EVERY night before bed. Eventually the music box died - and bunny now has "scars" from where dad attempted multiple times to fix it (yes, I still have this bunny)...so I just HAD to buy the giraffe.
