I told!!!

My original plan had been to either a) send out an e-mail over February break to tell work/my colleagues my news....or b) to tell them yesterday, Monday the 23rd. Well, I decided I should probably tell our principal face to face, and couldn't find him when I had free time yesterday...so that never happened. This morning, I walked in his office, gave him a project I had been working on, then told him the news. He must have had something else on his mind, because usually he is very talkative/philosophical about EVERYTHING...and he was really very nonchalant.

Then I sent out an e-mail. Subject: coming soon... Body: Baby K_____ ~ August 2009
I immediately received SO many congratulations e-mails! In a way it was great, but I also am not big on getting all of that attention (no matter what my parents would say).

Also - one teacher I had told before break came up to me and said "Wow, you really popped over this past week off!" Gee, I'm not so sure about that, but oh well. At least I sent the e-mail so others don't just think I'm getting fat. Then another teacher, who is working on the Drama Club play with us came up to me "Yesterday at rehearsal I just kept looking at you like something was different, it must have been that glow" I still insist my "glow" is really just the fact that I don't look quite as run down and like CRAP as I had been the past couple of months! But thank you anyways!

Anyways - all went well! After an excruciatingly painful department meeting....it's time to rest!
