We have a thumb sucker!!

Today's first trimester screen went very well! The u/s tech said the measurements all look great (though we don't have the official results yet). We got to watch baby for about 25 minutes (minus one pee break) while she did all of the measurements. Baby was sucking his/her thumb like crazy - then was being stubborn and turning over. The baby just knew that mommy didn't want the u/s to go too quickly! Amazing how much baby has grown in the past 5 weeks! We could see the arms, legs, face, and could even watch the mouth opening and closing. The heartbeat was 161 (which is interesting, it was 160 at my 9w appointment, but with my home doppler it's always more like mid 170's).
