Growing Up

Our first MAJOR purchase for the baby (since, compared to this...the high chair is no longer a major purchase):

2004 Toyota Sienna

LOTS of miles - but awesome deal we just couldn't turn down!

Now to sell my car to replenish our "summer savings".

Also - this weekend we went back to Buffalo to continue celebrating dad's 50th birthday. When I got to my parents house, my 5 year old nephew called me into the back bedroom where he plays his videogames. I said "Josh, we don't have time to play games, daddy will be here to get you any minute". He says "I know..just come here.." So I went in there..he looks at me, and ever so quietly says "Did you have your baby yet?" How cute!!! Sorry hun, not for awhile yet - til the END of summer!

We also took baby to his/her first Buffalo Sabres hockey game on Saturday! Waiting for dad to send me the pics!

I gave in yesterday and went to Motherhood Maternity and bought 4 shirts (3 short sleeve and 1 zip up sweater that can go over the other shirts) because I feel like I'm outgrowing my clothes, but don't quite fit in the ones my sis gave me yet. Man, maternity clothes are SO expensive (since I usually only buy super cheap/on sale stuff...yes...I hate paying $24.99 for a shirt). I told DH I feel bad spending over $100 on 4 shirts..and he says "It's ok, get what you need. I hate how you try to get dressed in the morning and never feel good about what you're wearing." How sweet!

Less than 2 weeks (2 weeks from 8am this morning) til we find out if we're having a little boy or girl! I sure hope Baby cooperates!
