It's a BOY!!!!

First of all....we had our "BIG" u/s today! Everything looked GREAT and turns out we're having a BABY BOY!!! After doing all of the important measurements, etc. the tech said "Do you want to know what you're having?" We both said YES...so she moved the wand to the appropriate place...and said "It's a boy! Without a doubt!" We then got to see him in 4D for a couple of minutes, but he was being shy and kept putting his arms over his face. Throughout the entire u/s our little boy kept kicking (and punching) me...though I couldn't feel it at that time. I told DH "Now I know why my insides have felt so sore lately!"

It's a BOY

We are both THRILLED to be having a little boy, and are 99% sure on our name choice (Carter Michael K...). I know this sounds silly, but I think to myself "Even though we've been thinking this name since day 1...what if we make this decision...start telling people...then in a few weeks we change our minds?" I doubt it will happen, and as a coworker pointed out, once we start referring to baby by his name...we won't want to change....but still..haha.

I baked cookies last night, and frosted them after our appointment this morning. We brought some to MIL at work to surprise her, and I brought a huge tray into work to share our news.



Finally - yesterday we loaded up our extra queen bed onto/into the van and took it to my parents house. We picked up our crib and changing table..and can't WAIT to get started putting the nursery together.
