Hospital Update

Just got finished with my NST - and everything there looked good.Won't have results from my 24 hour urine collection until tomorrow morning, at which point they are going to do another blood draw and an ultrasound.

My blood pressure is still too high when I'm not on meds (Labetalol), so the doctor and some specialist decided to go ahead and give me the steriod shots to mature baby's lungs (one tonight..I'm still waiting for it..and one in the morning) ...JUST in case things turn bad and baby needs to be delivered.However, the steriods can cause more problems with my glucose levels...so now instead of testing 4x a day...I have to test every 4 hours. IF they are too high at that point - then I will get an insulin injection (so "on demand").


Did I mention that we're moving Saturday? DH has a feeling I'll still be in the hospital for the weekend at least since it seems like they add something new every time he comes to visit. So weird that I may have gone to work on Wednesday to never step foot inside my house again....

And still...I feel completely FINE! Keep cooking Carter...
